Through an agroecological training day, committees, parents, and students learned about sustainable practices, such as using biofertilizers to protect soil and reduce chemicals. Technical assistance and seeds of radish, eggplant, chili, squash, and cucumber were also provided, strengthening healthy food production to complement school meals and instill in children a love and respect for the land.
