Public educational centers present significant challenges in terms of infrastructure for basic sanitation, negatively impacting the health and well-being of children, even more so with the resumption of in-person instruction in the context of the Covid19 pandemic. That is why Fundaci\u00f3n Agrol\u00edbano has prioritized the conditions for basic sanitation and manages improvement projects through allies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this regard, a sanitary module with bathrooms, a septic tank, a sink, a cistern, and an above-ground tank with a pumping system is being built at the Adolfo L\u00f3pez Canales school in the Altos del Estiquir\u00edn community to ensure access to water for hygiene. In addition, another sanitary module with bathrooms, a sink, and a septic tank is being built in the same community at the early childhood care center, where nutritional monitoring and early stimulation activities are carried out. This project is funded by Honduras Outreach Inc.
