80 families have an eco-stove
A total of 80 families participated in the training sessions carried out by Fundación Agrolíbano to adopt good practices such as the use of the eco-stove, which has positive impacts on the environment and family health. The families chose to build their eco-stove, with the support of 6 health committees and 10 rural banks.
These actions are part of the project "Conservation and protection of water resources, linked to 3 micro-basins, Namasigüe in the municipality of Namasigüe, Calaire in El Corpus in Choluteca and Baja Grande de Nacaome, in Valle", which has the support of the Territorial Water Governance Program in Region 13 Gulf of Fonseca and the technical and financial support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation - COSUDE, thus contributing to SDGs 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 15 and 17, by helping to reduce deprivations linked to multidimensional poverty, promoting well-being and health, with educational processes for all at all ages, for the sustainable use of local ecosystems with the establishment of local alliances.
