Words from our President
It is an honor for me to share with you the commitment and passion that drives us to work every day to improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable families in southern Honduras. Since our beginnings, we have firmly believed in the power of collaboration and innovation to generate a positive and lasting impact in southern Honduras.
With over a decade of experience leading this foundation, I have had the privilege of seeing how our strategic efforts and systemic approach have significantly contributed to the reduction of multidimensional poverty. We have built a robust monitoring and evaluation system that allows us to continuously measure and improve our impact, and we have established over 100 multi-stakeholder partnerships that have been key to the sustainable development of communities.
In 2018, we achieved an important milestone by conducting the first community-level IPM study, using the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative methodology. This study has not only provided us with valuable data to guide our actions, but has also demonstrated Fundación Agrolíbano’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
I deeply thank all our collaborators, partners and donors for their support and trust. Together, we will continue to work with dedication and enthusiasm to build a more prosperous and equitable future for all.
With gratitude,
Pamela Molina

Who are we?
Our history
From the heart and vision of a hard-working and passionate man, a son of the southern region of Honduras, the Agrolíbano Foundation was born. Don Miguel Molina, with his hard dedication and love, forged a solid company in the agroindustry that, for 45 years, has transcended Honduran soil to reach thousands of homes around the world. While he was charting the course of his company, Don Miguel was already carrying out philanthropic actions, helping the elderly and those in need of medicine, as well as providing food to populations affected by hurricanes and other disasters that have marked the history of the region.
Since its creation, the Fundación Agrolíbano has implemented various programs and projects focused on improving the quality of life of communities. These include initiatives in health, education, community development and environmental protection. The foundation has worked closely with local and community organizations to ensure that its efforts are sustainable and have a lasting impact.
Currently, the Agrolíbano Foundation is implementing its second strategic plan, having helped more than 2,350 families for more than a decade with child health, water and basic sanitation, housing improvements, food security, and improved conditions in more than 30 educational centers, contributing to the comprehensive development of thousands of boys and girls in the region. The foundation has also supported training for young people and adults, raising the educational level and promoting skills that allow them to improve their job and economic opportunities. In addition, the foundation promotes community participation and local leadership, fostering a culture of peace and sustainable development in local governance.
For local residents, the Agrolíbano Foundation is a constant support that has been by their side even in times of crisis due to natural disasters and pandemics. The foundation continues to work hand in hand with community organizations to ensure that families can live with dignity, from a systemic approach based on human rights, gender and generational equity, which contributes to reducing poverty from a multidimensional perspective.
