Private sector contributions improve education
On June 6, the alliance between Fundación Agrolíbano and Fundación Terra, which has been in place for 12 years, was reaffirmed. It directly benefits elementary school students from 14 rural public schools in the Valle and Choluteca regions. Fundación Terra's Scholarship and Reinforcement programs, together with Fundación Agrolíbano's Comprehensive Care for Children and Adolescents in the School Environment (ADINAE) program, focus on improving academic performance and facilitating access to educational content aligned with the national curriculum. In addition, these initiatives promote education for life through technology-enabled classrooms. This alliance contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG): 1 End of Poverty, 4 Quality Education, 5 Gender Equality, and 10 Reduction of Inequalities.
