Community Brigade in San Agustín improves living conditions

The community of San Agustín, in Namasigüe, once again welcomed the brigade of American volunteers from the Grace Presbyterian Church mission, who together with the community organizations Comité de Salud and Caja Rural La Luz, have carried out projects to improve the living conditions of families. In this sense, 5 families were benefited with washable latrines, 5 with healthy floors, 150 people with optometry services and children and young people with spiritual growth and culture of peace activities. This brigade arrived thanks to the alliance between Fundación Agrolíbano and Honduras Outreach Inc., who for a decade have been working alongside organized communities to reduce deficiencies related to basic sanitation in the southern zone, thus contributing to SDGs 1, 3, 4, 6, 16 and 17.
