Child Care Advocacy: Training Volunteers to Make an Impact in the Community

Between August and September 2024, Fundación Agrolíbano, through its Comprehensive Early Childhood Care Program, trains volunteers from the communities of Santa Cruz (Namasigüe), Altos del Estiquirín and Tamarindo (Nacaome). These sessions aim to improve care for children aged 3 to 5, strengthening skills in key areas for child development, such as socio-emotional, cognitive, language and motor development. The objective is to expand early stimulation coverage, contributing to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 1, 2, 3, 16 and 17, thus improving the quality of life of children and their families.
