FUNDACIÓN AGROLÍBANO STRENGTHENS COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

As part of the Conscious Leadership program, Fundación Agrolíbano conducted training sessions with 140 community leaders from Agua Agria No. 2, El Porvenir, Laureada, San Agustín, San Jerónimo, and Tamarindo Apacilagua to strengthen the implementation of their Community Comprehensive Development Plans (PDIC). Participants enhanced their knowledge of the National Risk Management System Law, hazard identification, and community organization, reinforcing their capacity for emergency prevention, preparedness, and response. These efforts strengthen local leadership and community management, promote more organized and resilient communities, and contribute to reducing factors associated with multidimensional poverty.
