Training for agricultural producers

The Agrolíbano Foundation strengthens local corn producers through training sessions and technical assistance to promote good agricultural practices in small-scale food production.

Thus, 116 women and 180 men are being trained to carry out productive activities in 10 communities, and they also benefit from a productive kit and technical assistance, as part of the project "Implement mechanisms for the reactivation of local economies", developed in alliance with CDE MIPYME Golfo de Fonseca and co-financed with funds from the National Service for Entrepreneurship and Small Businesses (SENPRENDE).

This action contributes to food security, nutrition, health and well-being, life of terrestrial ecosystems, within the framework of multi-stakeholder alliances of the public and private sectors, thus contributing to SDGs 2, 3, 15 and 17.
