Pedrerito community advances towards comprehensive care for early childhood
Continuing the implementation of the PAIPI program in the Pedrerito community, the transition has begun to carry out comprehensive sessions to monitor the growth and development of children, benefiting 56 families with 71 children under 6 years of age.
To achieve this, more volunteers were recruited in the community, increasing the number from 3 to 8 volunteers, who have begun the 60-hour training process on topics related to the PAIPI methodology based on three stages: care for children during the gestation period, care for healthy growth and development in the period from 0 to 6 years, and actions to support a favorable family, school, and community environment for children. In this way, we all contribute to Sustainable Development Goals 1, 2, 3, 4, and 17.
