Capacity building for 3 micro-basin committees

Within the framework of the project Conservation and protection of water resources, linked to the micro-basins of: Namasigüe in the municipality of Namasigüe, Calaire in El Corpus in Choluteca and Baja Grande de Nacaome, in Valle, integrated into the SAMPILE Basin, the training process for 40 members of these micro-basins began. The process will be carried out in 5 days, addressing the following topics: basic sanitation, environmental legislation, parliamentary regulations and how to prepare and approve internal regulations and accounts.

To carry it out, there is support from the Territorial Water Governance Program in Region 13 Gulf of Fonseca and the technical and financial support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation - COSUDE, to contribute to the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals, #6, 8, 16, and 17 in alliances for the integrated management and efficient consumption of water resources in peaceful societies.
