Producers in Valle and Choluteca strengthen their capacities
The skills of 247 producers from 6 communities and members of micro-basin organizations in Baja de Nacaome, Namasigüe and Calaire in the departments of Valle and Choluteca continue to be strengthened through training processes on topics of pest and disease management in basic grains, use and processing of infiltration ditches and the impact of climate change on water resources.
All these actions are part of the action strategies of the Healthy Families program executed by Fundación Agrolíbano linked to the project Conservation and protection of water resources, linked to 3 micro-basins, Baja de Nacaome, Namasigüe and Calaire in the departments of Valle and Choluteca, with the support of the Territorial Water Governance Program in Region 13 Gulf of Fonseca and the technical and financial support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation –
COSUDE. Thus contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals 2, 3, 15 and 17.
