Promotion of Sexual Health and Reproductive Health in adolescents in the school environment
The Agrolíbano Foundation has completed an educational process to promote sexual and reproductive health in 7 basic education centers in Valle and Choluteca with the participation of 217 students in seventh, eighth and ninth grade, using the “Taking Care of My Life and My Health” Guide proposed by the National Basic Curriculum Design of Honduras.
These actions are part of the Healthy Families Program, promoted by the Agrolíbano Foundation with the aim of promoting informed decision-making to prevent the risks of sexually transmitted infections in the young population, thus contributing to SDGs 3, 4, 16 and 17, by generating knowledge that promotes healthy lifestyles and the well-being of all at all ages, which contributes to coexistence in peaceful societies, strengthening alliances to achieve the objectives.
