Nutritional supplement for pregnant mothers, nursing mothers up to 6 months of age and for children from 6 months to 2 years of age.

For the second consecutive year, the Agrolíbano Foundation, in partnership with the Honduran Association of the Order of Malta, is implementing the “United for Food Security for our Children – Honduras” Project to contribute to the reduction of chronic malnutrition rates by facilitating the provision of nutritional supplements that promote the growth and development of children in the first thousand days of life.

The project is linked to the nutritional surveillance monitoring actions of the Comprehensive Early Childhood Care Program that is implemented in 18 communities in the area of ​​influence of Fundación Agrolíbano, and with similar actions carried out by staff in 13 health facilities near these communities. Between August and September, 402 pregnant and lactating women have benefited from the ENOV MUM supplement and 884 children have benefited from the delivery of the NUTRIBUTTER supplement in Valle and Choluteca. Contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals #2, #3 and #17.
