Construction of a bridge box improves access to the community of Agua Agria, El Corpus

The Agrolíbano Foundation, through the program Strengthening Citizen Participation for Peace and Development, aims to contribute to strengthening the organizational and leadership capacities of community bodies for self-management of community development based on a culture of peace.

It is within the framework of this program that the living forces of the Agua Agria community have been supported in managing the project to build a bridge box that will improve access to the community and prevent damage to the road due to rain; this work has been completed with the support of the Municipal Government of El Corpus and Agrolíbano. This action is aligned with SDGs 11, 16 and 17, by strengthening development planning by linking urban, peri-urban and rural areas, preventing economic losses caused by disasters, promoting inclusive participation in decision-making for development and fostering alliances between multiple actors.
