Agrolíbano Foundation, within the framework of the Program to Strengthen Citizen Participation for Peace and Development (FOPACDE) and in alliance with the Namasigüe Microbasin Council, during the month of February 2023, concluded 3 training days aimed at the application of its internal regulations, which strengthens the empowerment of the functions of the council representatives to promote the plan in favor of the care of the environment and water resources, all this within the framework of the Conservation and protection of water resources project, linked to 3 micro-basins of Namasigüe and Calaire in Choluteca and Baja Grande in Valle.

This project is implemented with the support of the Territorial Water Governance Program in Region 13 Gulf of Fonseca and the technical and financial support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation - COSUDE, contributing to SDGs #6, 15, 16, and 17.
