Implementation of nurseries in communities of Choluteca and Valle

To strengthen citizen participation in reforestation actions that contribute to the protection of water resources, 4 nurseries are being implemented in coordination with the Calaire Microbasin Council and the involvement of 5 Water Boards in Valle and Choluteca and family members to achieve the production of 5 thousand plants, 80% of them produced in the spaces of the School Farms. All this has been possible with the support of the Territorial Water Governance Program Region 13 Gulf of Fonseca and the technical and financial support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation - COSUDE, to contribute together to the achievement of SDGs #13 Climate Action, #15 Terrestrial Ecosystems and #17 Partnerships to achieve the goals.
